Aura Course Manager

Aura Course Manager is a system that manages e-Learning solutions that are run in the Web, either the Internet or the Intranet. This tool distributes the course content, stores and coordinates the progress and grades of each student. It is set up on a server, and a manager is in charge of loading the course, creating users, and assigning contents.

The system has 2 environments: manager and student. Each type of user has different functions. "The manager creates students, assigns groups, installs courses, and generates student status reports. "The student takes the assigned courses and participates in forums, chats, and tests.

Technical requirements

Requirements vary according to the platform. It is run on any Explorer or Netscape 4.0, but courses still need 5.5 or higher versions. For a server based on PC/windows, the configuration is as follows:

  Pentium II of 200 or higher
  256 MB of RAM as a minimum
  10MB of hard disk, plus 30 KB per registered user

Regarding the software, the requirements are as follows:

  Windows NT4 (sp6) or 2000 (sp3) operating system
  MYSQL 3.23.247 motor or higher
  PHP interpreter
  Web server
