AICC
Aura e-Learning solutions comply with well-known industry standards such as AICC (the Aviation Industry CBT Committee) to be compatible with different learning management systems.
The Aviation Industry CBT (Computer-Based Training) Committee (AICC) is an international professional computer-based training association. AICC develops guides for the aviation industry in the areas of development, shipment, and CBT evaluation, and related technologies.
The objectives of the AICC are:
To
support plane operators to develop guides promoting
an economical and effective CBT implementation.
To develop guides to allow interoperability.
To provide an open forum to discuss CBT and other training technologies.
AICC has four compliance levels: 1, 2, 3a, and 3b. Each level adds optional functionality both for the course and the LMS. The key word here is "optional." Since they are not required elements, neither the course nor the LMS can be sure if the other party is implementing them. Therefore, to avoid problems, we implement just level 1, which includes all the required elements (and which must be mandatorily implemented both in the course and the LMS). It would be a problem to depend on any element that the LMS does not implement because it is optional.
Aura Interactiva complies with the AICC standard, according to AGR-010 v1.0 (also inappropriately referred to as AICC 3.5)
