Aura Interactiva’s collaborative development platform is now compliant with SCORM 2004, 4th Edition

Aura Interactiva’s collaborative development platform is now compliant with SCORM 2004, 4th Edition. The enhancement adds 4 new features and some other clarifications which include bug fixes.

The new features are:

  • Rollup of weighted completion data: the data model element which indicates how complete a user’s course is will now be rolled up with different activities having different weights. This enables the LMS to provide accurate progress bars.
  •  Jump navigation request: it gives content authors more sequencing options. Also it separates the internal requests from the ones the learner is allowed to perform.
  • Shared data between SCO’s:  at the moment a user wishes to create a sequenced course it now has access to a common pool of data that different SCO’s can access.
  • More objective data available globally:  now there is the availability to share objective data with other SCO’s and courses via global objectives.
