CENECOOP R.L. starts an interactive project for school cooperativist education

To date, over 10.000 schoolchildren have participated in the validation

The Center on Cooperative Studies and Training (CENECOOP R.L.) will launch the cooperativist educational program on July 1st by means of an interactive course in digital format, available in a compact disc that can be used in any computer equipment.

This course was designed and developed by CENECOOP R.L. and the Department of Primary and High School Cooperatives from the Ministry of Public Education with the participation of its Director, Clara Espinoza, and advisors who worked with the technical team from CENECOOP R.L. and Aura Interactiva for six months in instructional design, software development, and course validation.

This process of validation includes about 200 teachers from all over the country, who teach different disciplines, work in different teaching environments, and also includes over 10.000 students from more than 30 educational centers from North to South and from East to West.

This formal opening ceremony of the course will be attended by authorities from the Central Government, Congress members, and from the Costa Rican Cooperative Movement, and hundreds of preschool and school children.

The ceremony will be held next Friday, July 1st at 9:30 a.m., in the Auditorium of Edificio Cooperativo, al costado Norte del mall San Pedro; the Costa Rican cooperativist community and the public at large are invited to this event.
